Ok, after a few month hiatus to focus on work and grad school, it is officially time to start posting again up in this bitch. Sorry for the ridiculously sparse posts as of late. What can I tell you, I'm totally swamped with work and school work, plus my laptop died. Anyway, here we go...
I just heard this for the first time ever today over at I Wish You Would and haven't stopped listening to it since. What an incredibly beautiful beat...that's all I can think of to say about it. It's just amazing. For those that don't know, the group is Natural Elements, and these dudes were killing it back in my middle/high school backpacker days. Make sure to cop their just unearthed/released album 1999.

Natural Elements always come with that real hip hop.. I really miss the way hip hop used to sound, and even when digging thru the underground, it's hard to come up with a sound as genuine as this. Good stuff!
