Rugged Man Be Who The Man Is

I just got an email from my dude RA The Rugged Man, co-writer of the recent horror flick Bad Biology, about his upcoming directorial debut. Rugged's first film is called God Take, God Give. According to RA, it is going to be “an insane mockumentary” based on the life of his father, Staff Sgt. John A. Thorburn. If you read my articles, you may remember this interview I did with RA that focused on Staff Sgt. Thorburn and the importance of the song "Uncommon Valor". For those unfamiliar with the song, RA rhymes a biographical verse about his father's Vietnam war experiences alongside Vinnie Paz over a Stoupe beat. Upon hearing the song, I instantly put RA's verse in my all-time Top 5. It hasn't moved out of my personal Top 5 yet. I'm happy to see Staff Sgt. Thorburn and RA continuing to collaborate on creative projects. To read the full write-up of God Take, God Give over at Fangoria, click here.

Deadgirl

Screenwriter/actor Trent Haaga recently did a killer interview with me for my Famous People Love Horror series. I'm a firm believer in showing gratitude to my interviewee's by helping give their projects as much shine as possible. That being said, here is a embedded teaser for 2008's Deadgirl, which Haaga penned the screenplay for.

DJ P Goodies

I can't tell you how excited I am to see this....

D.J.P vs DJ Crime - Hell on Wheels from D.J.P on Vimeo.

P has been working on this for a minute and it's the kind of unique and quality output that I've come to expect from him.

Apparently he will be releasing a full length DVD version of this in a week or so.

After you check out the video teaser for his DVD, make sure to cop P's new mix tape. It's a mix between a best of compilation and a new album.

Purchase it by clicking here.

Little Otik

Although I think this trailer kind of sucks, this movie kicks serious ass. It's funny, twisted, incredibly original and unique. Check it out on IMDB and give it a shot. Let me know what you think.
